Jupiter Moves Into Cancer (Its Favorite Sign!) – What It Means For You…

Have you ever wanted something SO MUCH but you just couldn’t seem to have it?
You waited and hoped, prayed and waited some more.
You did everything you could to MAKE your goal come true… hitting roadblocks and delays no matter what you tried.
You started to think it would NEVER happen and that it just wasn’t “meant to be.”
Worse than that – you started to think you were CURSED or something.
And then – suddenly – without doing anything differently, without having to WORK harder, out of the blue you got what you wanted at last?
But you didn’t know why…
It just finally “came together” as though all that TRYING had nothing to do with it.
THAT’S how it is when you’re working AGAINST the stars and it’s NOT time for you to have whatever it is that you want, no matter how much SELF-EFFORT you make.
But then – when the stars align and it IS time, suddenly it’s as though your dream lands at your feet without you having to do ANYTHING at all.
This is how women especially feel about LOVE.
They seek me out when they can’t find their man… or when things are not going well with the man they’re with.
And often, it’s not because of anything they’re doing or not doing…
But they THINK they have to KNOCK themselves out… so they’ll be paying an expensive matchmaker, and they’ll be registered on five internet dating sites, and they’ll be working on losing weight and dressing well and flirting with men everywhere.
But every guy they meet is Mr. Wrong…
Or they’ll be dragging their guy to therapy, and taking tons of seminars, and reading tons or relationship books…
And NONE of that will work!
And then one day – when they’re not doing anything special, they trip over HIM – Mr. Right.
Or they’re romantic troubles seem to go “POOF” and become a thing of the past.
And it’s so easy…
And just like that, they’re in love.
They cancel the matchmaker and they take down their internet profiles…
And they quit therapy and stop buying so many self-help books…
And they can finally relax about it all.
Ahhh…
What happened?
What changed?
Were they finally just READY?
No.
It was TIME.
(I like to think of it like the seasons and the weather – are flowers “ready” when it’s Springtime and they can bloom at last?
Did they have to “work” for that? Were they “not good enough” months earlier when they were mere bulbs under snow? NO!
Do you see how silly it would be to think that? It’s the same idea.)
When you get a feeling of RELIEF or the realization of a BIG DREAM, there’s always one planet to bow down to…
The planet Jupiter.
Jupiter is the planet that anyone who knows anything about astrology loves the most…
Because, when this planet “takes center stage” in your chart, life gets GOOD.
It’s the planet of expansion, healing, support, and grace.
When it’s working for you, miracle healings occur, you have “the Midas Touch,” support falls in your lap, you’re upbeat and peaceful, and love is all around.
Ahhh…
But when Jupiter planet ISN’T on “TEAM YOU,” it’s hard to have things go well.
Obstacles abound… Your mind is clouded with worry… support vanishes… money is tight… love is nowhere in sight or is riddled with drama…
Here’s the thing: Jupiter is switching “teams” this coming week. And, best of all, it’s moving from a sign where it’s not so happy, to a sign where its joy is SUPER-SIZED…
That’s right – this coming Thursday Jupiter switches signs for the first time since June of last year from the sign of Gemini (the sign of a great enemy, where Jupiter can’t bring its fullest gifts)…
…into the sign of Cancer (Jupiter’s FAVORITE sign, where it’s “exalted” and in all of its glory!).
(That’s according to the calculations of Vedic astrology which differ from those of Western astrology by almost an entire sign.)
In astrology, Jupiter rules abundance, banking, finances, wisdom, faith, children and marriage and husbands.
So on the word stage, there should be more peace, abundance, spirituality and “higher thinking.” (We could sure use all of that!)
For YOU personally, Jupiter will benefit whatever part of your chart it will go through (whatever “house” Cancer happens to be for you, and whatever planets may be there).
Your personal horoscope is complicated and involves far more than just this one influence, but Jupiter’s energy is so strong and important there are some general things that can be said about this alone, no matter what else is happening in your stars.
It’s very important to make the most of this “boost” from above, or understand what NOT to do if it’s not as helpful to you.
So below review what YOU can do to make the MOST of this time, and get Jupiter’s good vibrations WORKING for your highest good in your PERSONAL and FINANCIAL LIFE…
Because – no kidding – when a woman goes from feeling STUCK and BLOCKED to having her dreams suddenly come true – it’s pretty much ALWAYS because before Jupiter was in a weak place for her, and has now moved into a strong one…
(So if this is you, get psyched! And if it’s not don’t despair, but do take note of how you can make things go better…)
In Vedic astrology we emphasize the results of the motions of the planets in your life NOT from looking to your Sun sign, but instead from your MOON SIGN.
To determine your MOON SIGN, take a moment to calculate your Vedic astrology chart (which I mentioned earlier differs by almost an entire sign in relation to the more commonly known Western system) and look for the sign of your Moon in the “Planetary Details” box by going to my “chart creator page” here.
(If you don’t know your birth time, go ahead and read what’s written below for your Vedic Sun sign because it does work, it’s just more of a secondary thing – but try to track down your birth time so you can figure out your Moon sign and come back to this again.)
HOW JUPITER WILL IMPACT YOU IN THE COMING 13 MONTHS…
Here’s some insight into what you can expect starting this Thursday, June 18th, and lasting for the next thirteen months until July 13th, 2015:
ARIES: This is an excellent time to buy a new vehicle, upgrade your home or landscaping, and spend time with your family. You may find yourself worrying more than usual – do things to boost your mood such as exercise, reading inspirational books, and watching comedies.
TAURUS: This is a great time to dust off any creative projects (especially those that involve writing, performing, or music) and take another “crack” at them, spend time with friends and neighbors, and enjoy short trips. There may be some change in your profession that you initially don’t like. If you’ve been wanting to do something more entrepreneurial, now’s when you should.
GEMINI: This is an excellent time to make more money or improve your reputation somehow. You can enjoy more romantic attention as well as connect with your family. If you’re in a relationship, spend more time together as your love can deepen now. If you’re single, this is a nice time to meet someone – so go on a “manhunt.”
CANCER: Whew – this is a good time for your spiritual and romantic life. Your optimism and health should be greater than in the last few months. Be conservative with your finances, as Jupiter here can make you feel “bullet-proof” and cause you to be indulgent, and sorry later. Another possible downside is that you may be having more arguments with loved ones than usual. Use this spiritual mojo to grow your patience and ask for support.
LEO: Your spiritual life can improve now. This is an excellent time for foreign travel. Your increased optimism can lead you to have greater expenses so be careful of that. You may feel more fatigue and less social than usual so be sure to get enough rest.
VIRGO: Congratulations! You enjoy greater vitality and the “Midas touch,” more support from friends and powerful people, and an increase in prestige, power, and authority. This is an excellent time to join groups or organizations and be well received, make big money, and even win awards. It seems no one can say no to you now…
LIBRA: You may feel blocked professionally and financially now. This is a great time to learn something new and get ready to be in a better job or position later (we call this “gettin’ ready to get ready). Take extra care of your health and surround yourself only with those who support you as you may feel more hopeless now than usual, even if everything is fine.
SCORPIO: This is a lovely time to travel, expand your spiritual or academic interests, enjoy your relationship or seek a new one. If you’ve been wanting a mentor or counselor, you may find an excellent resource now. You seem to have an angel on your shoulder, assuring your success in all areas, and keeping you safe and extra fortunate.
SAGITTARIUS: This is a positive time to receive more help than usual from your partner, or to have financial aid from “unearned” sources – inheritance, loans, royalties, insurance, etc. Be careful of overdoing or overworking as it could lead to burnout.
CAPRICORN: Jupiter is sitting in your house of partnership now, so ifyou’re single then get out and mingle as you’ll be more popular than ever! If you’re already in a relationship or married, you may notice a lift in your union and that your partner is having more success and happiness now.
AQUARIUS: This is a good time to overcome any obstacles you may be facing – improve your health, make gains on any debts you have, get a “leg up” in any legal battles, and be of greater service to others. Do things to increase your emotional MOJO as you may find yourself feeling unusually blue even though everything is fine.
PISCES: This is a sweet time for romance, happiness (and fertility!) in terms of children (your own or other people’s), creative and artistic pursuits, and socializing in general. This is an excellent time for your investments, income, and the study of spiritual writings or practices.
ANOTHER WAY JUPITER MAY IMPACT YOU…
It’s also helpful to look to what section of your chart Jupiter will impact for the next thirteen months. This can be understood by looking at the “house” Jupiter will be situated in while in Cancer.
This info. can conflict with or enhance what it’s doing in relation to your Moon sign (welcome to the fun of astrology!).
According to Vedic astrology it’s more important to read the effects of Jupiter in relation to the Moon, but the blessing of Jupiter is still very powerful for whatever house it’s in for you.
To figure out what house Cancer is in your chart, all you have to do is determine what rising sign you are.
(When you get your chart off of my “Chart Creator” page at the link above, you’ll notice there are two charts – they are the same chart in two different formats, North Indian and South Indian.
In the South Indian chart on the left your rising sign is indicated by the slash through the left lower corner of one of the boxes, in the North Indian chart on the right, it’s indicated by the number “1” in the box of the house in the top center of your chart.
You can also find your rising sign in the “Planetary Details Box” where it says “Ascendant.” Whew…)

ARIES: Jupiter is now in your fourth house from your rising sign. Read the description for Aries Moon above.
TAURUS: Jupiter is now in your third house from your rising sign. Read the description for Taurus Moon above.
GEMINI: Jupiter is now in your second house from your rising sign. Read the description for Gemini Moon above…
You get the idea – whatever your rising sign, read the description for that Moon sign above, and you’ll experience that influence in the coming year as well.
ONE MORE WAY JUPITER CAN HELP YOU
There’s one last thing I should mention that you can easily look up about this special energy…
If you have any planets in Cancer, Jupiter will help uplift those, too.
So again, look at your chart, and see what planets you were born with situated IN the sign of Cancer.
(On the “Chart Creator” page you can see this in the “Planetary Details” Box. Look at each of the planets and the Sun and Moon, and see if any of them say they’re found in Cancer.)
Here’s how Jupiter can help the planetary positions of your birth chart (if you don’t have the Sun, Moon, or any planets in Cancer, skip this part):
THE SUN: The Sun represents your health, vitality, appearance, father or father figures, bosses, and to a certain extent important men in your life. Physically it represents your heart and circulatory system, your hair and eyes. Jupiter sitting in the sign of your Sun can help improve your health and vitality, and bring greater support, encouragement, and influence from “higher ups,” – even the government. This can be a time when the men in your life are more supportive or successful.
THE MOON: The Moon represents your emotions, your sense of self, your mother or mother figures, fertility, and women in your life. Physically it represents the brain, your fertility, and your hormones. Jupiter’s influence can in create healing and upliftment with these people or issues.
MERCURY: Mercury represents your intellectual mind, learning, education, writing, contracts and business communications, friends, pets, and your digestion and skin. Jupiter blessing Mercury in these coming months indicate it may be a great time to learn new things, get new training, dust off writing projects or start new ones, and heal any skin or digestion troubles. This can be a good time to make new friends and acquaintances, or bring a new animal into your life.
VENUS: Venus represents love and romance, sensuality, beauty, vehicles, real estate, luxuries, clothing, socializing, and pretty much anything fun. Physically it represents the kidneys, When Jupiter is in the same sign as Venus it’s a great time to be more social, find a new love interest, improve your sex life, hairdo, beauty regime, wardrobe, and finally do those home and landscaping projects.
MARS: Mars represents exercise, action, passion, strategy, and ambition. Physically it represents your blood and muscles. When Jupiter blesses Mars in your chart it can be highly motivating, and has been noted to especially increase finances. This is a good time to be more proactive all around. If you’re involved in any legal disputes (or need to be), Jupiter can help you have “the upper hand” now. Go for it!
JUPITER: This is called “The Jupiter Return” and happens every twelve years for all of us. It’s considered a time of increased enlightenment. Jupiter represents wisdom, philosophy, and higher thinking of all kinds – in this special time your own spiritual development, luck, and outlook can deeply expand and improve. Physically it represents the liver and pancreas. This is an excellent time to join a spiritual or recovery group of any kind, and to seek out teachers to help you in any area. Dream big.
SATURN: Saturn is the planet of structure, security, stability, discipline, and focus. Physically it represents the teeth and bones. Jupiter helps Saturn increase all of these things, while lightening the sometimes heavy, painful vibe Saturn can bring. (So you can suddenly WANT to clean the house and go to the gym every day, and not just do so because you’re so hard on yourself about it all… wouldn’t that be nice?)
I gotta tell ya, when Jupiter is in a good place for you to bring romance, it DOES.
So if that’s you and you’re single, get out and go on a “mission of love!”
Despite my example above of a woman making TONS of effort to find and maintain love (with matchmakers, internet dating, setups and more) I almost never find women who give their love lives that kind of attention.
I wish! No, most single women are still thinking that their love life will just magically “happen” – causing them to stay “the best-kept secret in town” for no other reason than that!
Good men don’t want to bother you unless you give them a clear signal that you WANT them to…
(But BAD ones will whether you encourage them or not!)
